This was a really great way to spend a Friday evening at the Egyptian in Hollywood. The Marilyn Monroe poem short was worth the price of admission alone. Plus they had wine and appetizers and well it's Hollywood so they do these things. There are other events around Los Angeles for this during the weekend and they did have an after party afterwards where you could mingle with the filmmakers albeit there is a slight language barrier there and the Q and A afterwards was the shortest Q and A I've ever been to. About 15 minutes (due to time? It was only 10 p.m.?) So no questions taken from the audience which to me defeats the whole purpose of the Q and A. But all and all if you're interested in Cuban culture and don't mind reading your movies it's a must go to event. Oh, also leave your piles of childs at home. First they will be really bored and second unless they're extremely mature for their age DO NOT take them and ruin other peoples experience.
