In a far-out, weird film venturing into nonsense and beyond, the histories of three "good" scoundrels are explored in flashbacks, before the trio sets out to rob the Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon. One wants to be a movie star, one loves to elude the police, two became buddies in prison, another makes friends with some prostitutes. All these activities are stretched to outlandish degrees: one scene involves a huge revolving cake with three dancers cavorting across the top. As this madness approaches the time of the robbery, the scenario shifts to a computer screen and some of the most intentionally bad scenes to appear in a film. Quite clearly, this exaggerated mockery of crime cinema is not meant for all audiences. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
