A difficult subject is brought forward in this drama-comedy about two couples and infidelity. When both couples get together on Christmas Eve to share drinks and a good time, the alcohol loosens their inhibitions. It soons comes out that one of the husbands is having an affair with the other's wife. The adulterer's wife is tolerant of her husband's extra-marital life but she is alone in her stance. Since the couples cannot legally get a divorce and because not all four are in agreement as to how to proceed, their problems seem to be insoluble. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
