    Real

     by  Stellar_Manda

I love movies that give you a raw portrayal of life, in all of it's simplicities and complexities. That is talent.

    EverydayLife

If you see anyone from a different ethnicity than yours in your daily life, you MUST see this movie. Be aware that you might laugh, cry and feel both sad and happy during the movie. Most importantly, you might become more compassionate because you will understand that every person and situation is connected to one another.

    Magnificent!

This is a classic movie about race in the United States. It has different scenarios all involving race & the hatered or brotherly love that involve this critial issue in society.

    Well Done and Thought Provoking

     by  TMapou

I finally got around to seeing this movie after hearing all the hype and watching it have a lot of Oscar success, and it didn't let me down. It had an excellent ensemble cast. I was not only impressed by the expected great performances of people like Don Cheadle, Terrence Howard, Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillippe, but also Sandra Bullock (I had no idea she could pull off a dramatic role), Ludacris (I had no idea he could act, period!), and Michael Pena (who I didn't really know much about beforehand, but really did a great job--especially with some touching scenes with his on-screen daughter). And, unfortunately, the story is all too real and shows the consequences of bigotry and close-mindedness. Just a very well done movie, and I recommend it.
