  COP OUT!

  this movie was amazing! hilarious, exciting, and very action pact! i dont see how there is pervasive language? there was not any sexual terms or any swear words refering to sex. there was f*** bombs, and a few different other ones, but overall it was not that bad for me. and i dont feel uncomfortable bringing my 11 year old son along to this movie because it was not as bad as you would think it is. i would definetely see this movie again!

  Cop Out

  Slightly above average buddy cop flick only because of the decent chemistry between Morgan and Willis. Pollak and Lee were fine as the bumbling back-up cop crew. I couldn't even tell it was Jason Lee until the credits rolled. Stay for the very last scene to get a great chuckle from Sean William Scott. With the female supporting characters serving as the status quo eye candy, the boys will probably like this movie better than their dates.

  I THOUGHT THIS MOVIE WAS HYSTERICAL, I LOVE BRUCE WILLIS, I'M USED TO HIM ALWAYS FIGHTING THE BAD GUYS BY HIMSELF IN ALL HIS DIE HARD MOVIES, THIS WAS A CHANGE OF PACE SEEING HIM PLAY A COP WITH A PARTNER FOR ONCE. NOT TOO MUCH ACTION LIKE HIS DIE HARD MOVIES THOUGH. HIS PARTNER TRACY MORGAN HAD ME LAUGHING THE WHOLE MOVIE. THIS MOVIE WAS LIKE LETHAL WEAPON, REMEMBER MEL GIBSON AND DANNY GLOVER, IT WAS THAT KIND OF MOVIE, IT WAS VERY FUNNY..I LOVE THIS TYPE OF MOVIE..WORTH SEEING BUT LEAVE THE KIDS HOME CAUSE THERE'S A LOT OF CURSING..LOL

  80's Homage

  I appreciated this movie for what it was. At times it felt, in both cinematography and in dialogue like such mainstays of the genre as 48 hours, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, and The Last Boyscout. Willis and Morgan are hilarious, and any scene he is in is completely stolen by Sean William Scott. Kevin Pollak's portrayal of the antagonistic "other" detective that "has your back in the end" was sublime.
  
  It had moments of bad taste as you expect from Kevin Smith, but in the sense that your jaw drops and then you laugh out loud. The soundtrack was great, and was yet another homage to 80's buddy cop movies. I left the theatre chuckling.

  The movie was pretty good.

  There were some humorous parts, but I thought it was going to be funnier. Tracy Morgan is just downright funny. The only part I found disturbing was the 11 yr. old boy cursing like he was. Other than that and the fact that I was expecting the movie to be funnier, I thought it was good. The dialogue was good, the acting was good, and the storyline was good. Definitely not a kid movie.

  Tracy Morgan Deserves Better

  I had really high hopes for the combination of Kevin Smith and Tracy Morgan, but alas, I was thoroughly disappointed! This was a pre-school attempt at comedy. Unfortunately, to get such a huge studio push behind him, I think Mr. Smith had to dumb his style down for the lowest common denominator (aka "Mass Market").
  
  If you LOVE Tracy Morgan on 30 ROCK or have read his book, you know in your heart he deserves WAY better. This was clownish. I'd put it in the same category as First Sunday with him and Ice Cube. Why can't a script writer or director let him loose?
  
  The thing I will say, I challenged Kevin Smith that he must have "sold out" on Twitter and he responded and apologized if I didn't like it. He's @ThatKevinSmith and I'm @JeremyCee. That's genuine appreciation for ALL his fans right there.
