Coming of Age is a film about Chuck Solomon, a well-known figure in the San Francisco theater circle who learned that he had AIDS in 1985. Members of his family and a large group of friends threw a huge party for him on his 40th birthday. This film documents the outpouring of love and caring from the 350 people who attended the celebration.
