My kids loved this movie. I was so pleased to see them laughing and smiling and not have to worry about what I was going to need to sheild their eyes from. I thought it was creative and funny. Thanks for making it! Take your kids to see it!

I thought this was really cute for the kids to see. The humor is oriented more for the children than the adults, but adults will enjoy their child's laughter and excited comments. It's worth a look, especially for the kids!

My kids loved it! It sends a message of believing in yourself and to not give up on your dreams. Although a bit gross at times, i.e. giant hot dogs falling from sky and being devoured by a grossly overweight mayor, it did have a lot of good humor and my kids ages, 9, 6 and 3 laughed throughout the film. I would rate it a Go!

I took 5 kids, ages 4-11, to see this movie; all of them were very excited to see it - including me!
On the positive side, the messages were good, appropriate and relevant - success shouldn't be measured on what others think of you, be true to yourself and embrace the person you are, and greed is bad and ugly.
The only (and big) negative is that this movie was too long - the pace was very slow and the story dragged. I found myself spacing out as the story played out and the kids were getting antsy as well. The movie wasn't holding the attention of anyone in our group - about a half an hour in, the 4 year old started asking me how much longer the movie was going to take. When the kids really enjoy a movie, they go on about it after we leave the theater - with this movie, they all told me they liked it and then never spoke about it again.
So, while it was a good story with great messages, I would say this movie is just okay, probably better left for a rainy day video rental.
