This cartoon, created by some of the same creatives that produced "Clone High" follows the Warner Brothers convention of fast comedy, but added is a strong dose of truthful human relationships. It will take several viewings just to see all the gags, as it changes gears quick and often, and without warning which adds to the comedy. DON'T MISS IT WHEN IT COMES OUT ON DVD.

To put it bluntly, my girlfriend and I are now fighting over the rights to call this our favorite movie. When it come to animated films, people tend to flock to the Disney-Pixar conglomerate productions; however, Sony Pictures has really outdone itself. This delightful menagerie of creative and artistic prowess has something to provide for viewers of all ages. For the young child, there is some good old sillyness, colorful swirls, as well as a virtuous message. For the pre-teen, there is action, and a whole lot of humor. For the young adult, as well as those past their prime, there are subtle parodies of well-known disaster and science fiction films such as Twister and Star Wars, as well as a genius blend of philosophical and social nuance. Furthermore, it transports us back to the rainy days as a child when we first read the book, and imagined ourselves in the magical world of raining food.
Just a note of caution: don't watch this movie when you're hungry!

The movie is pure imagination in nature, My kids enjoyed it, it bored me a little bit because the movie is so predictable and it just exactly what I expected it. If you're an adult without kids and just bored, this is a movie for you. Otherwise, I will not recommend it. I enjoyed it because my kids laughed and seeing them happy is why I sacrifice going to movies that is not particularly entertaining.

I went to see this movie with my 7 year old son and 9 year old daughter. We laughed out loud throughout the entire show. I would recommend this movie to everyone! I believe my 75 year old mother would enjoy as much as my kids and I did- just FANTASTIC! This one will definately be a DVD purchase as well.

I went with my best friend (we are both young teens) thinking it would be a stupid baby movie. I was horribly wrong. This is the best movie I have EVER seen, and my family loves movies. This is a great movie for all ages (especially 8-14) and I would reccomend it for my 4 yr old brother, my 33 yr old dad, and my 82 yr old great-grandmother. My overall review is that everybody, from bratty 4 yr olds and "punk" teens to workaholic 30 yr old fathers and senile old ladys, NEEDS to see this movie.
