This is a really cute movie. Even if you did not see Meatballs 1,it fills you in on what previously happened to Flint and friends. The animation is really top notch and the story moves along with humor at every turn.

I love this movie! There are so many things in Cloudy 2 that was just wonderful and just had me entertained all the way through. This was a true sequel to Cloudy. My question now is where will the franchise go from here? We'll find out with the box office numbers. The voice acting was spot on. They picked a great cast for the voice overs. The direction was easy to follow along with so kudos to the director. This is a movie for all ages. It has jokes for adults that can be understood and kids. The animation was very fluid and eye acting that keeps you intrigued to film. If you have the time and you liked the first Cloudy then this is a go for you.

Took my grandsons ages 8,9, 10 they gave it an 8 on a scale of 1 - 10. Is was not as funny as we hoped. The younger children seemed to enjoy it more.

Wait to watch it at home

It was alright and both my kids liked the first one but they both said is it over yet, individually . Flick was almost inspiring in the first one, a real underdog but in this one he's not only dumb he's mean. The "Steve jobs" character is odd. What he plans on doing to the food at the end is kinda sick. My little one started crying. She's 4 and she watches some scary stuff with her older sister all the time. She understands older shows and realizes its acting or a cartoon but she was not prepared for the end scene. So be careful. Maybe mine is sensitive but my kid watches "face off " on scifi with no issues. 2.5 stars out of 5. They killed the franchise.

Review from an adult perspective

There were a few laughs in this one, but overall it felt like the writers were trying too hard with the jokes. Forcing laughs by using cliches and corny lines, which I'm sure kids would get a kick out of. But as adults, we know better. I didn't care too much for the story itself either. It felt rushed, quickly thrown together, and too familiar (unoriginal). I really liked the first one so I was really looking forward to enjoying this one as well. But needless to say, I left disappointed. When compared to everything else about the movie, the one thing that stood out the most for me was the writing. And not in a good way. Overall, if you're an adult wanting to see this movie, wait for the rental. If you're taking the kids, they'll be entertained. p.s. Don't see it in 3D. It's not worth the extra bucks. (see my 3D review)
