Time is an illusion. This movie shows many faces of time. Make the most of it with a present mind.

    Cloud Atlas review

"Our lives are not our own; we are bound to one another from the womb to the tomb".
Such a beautiful statement, and fitting statement.
Cloud Atlas follows multiple story lines and lifetimes all at once.
The film really does do an amazing job at keeping it all together, and not letting the viewer get lost.
The movie suggest the theory of reincarnation, and demonstrates in action that theory as the cast members cross each other's paths during different lifetimes. Have you ever met someone, or been someplace and are convinced that you know this person or this place somehow, yet this is your first occurrence with them or it? it's because often we are rei-writing our story, across different lifetimes, until we awake and decide to do something different about it.
The almost three hour film will almost assuredly fly by for you, and will leave you with that emotional connection to not only the characters and the situations in the movie, but to life itself. An important film!!

Batmans_Bby Tom Hanks is such an amazing actor. I realized he was good, but it wasn't until I saw cloud atlas before i realized he is great.

NoahHappens Cloud Atlas was better as a book than as a movie.. I can't imagine uninformed viewers taking away much from the film.
