trying to get through it - i failed

So super excited to see this, i couldnt make it to the 3-d but rented it. i dont really like to sit and watch movies unless i have to check it out. well as soon as this started i was waiting and waiting for it to really take off... it never did eeveeerrrrr. I was soooo bored that i turned it off. James cameron and whomever did this camera work was terrible, the cam just needed to stay in one angle maybe or backoff. i was missing half of the work since the cam was here n there. I will stick to live shows for sure. Even the movie they came out with a few yrs back was much better.

Totally Amazing!

If you have any interest at all in Cirque Du Soleil, you must see this film! A combination of several different shows, it keeps you constantly entertained with visuals and activities that are just fabulous!

give me back my 91 minutes!

This was painful. I've never seen them live, but have seen several TV appearances which were incredible. This was just lifeless and dull. The cinematic effects sucked all the energy right out of it, so that even when they were doing amazing things - it wasn't impressive. Also, the Beatles segment went on sooooo long. One or two songs would have been ok, but this was just annoying!

I like the shows on DVD better!

If you love cirque show's you'll love it

Incredible...

Imagine Fantasia, but not done with animation, but with special effects, music, and the most amazing circus performers. Surprisingly moving. A great movie.

DISSAPOINTED!

I drove an hour to my sisters house to go with her to drive another hour to the movie theatre it was playing at. Got the 3-d glasses and waited for the 3-d action. There was none. The movie theatre said 1) Only the 7:40 showing is in 3-d (?) 2) Oh, is it supposed to be,in 3-D?where does it say that? (like, all over the theatre!) I tried the glasses, the colors became dull , and, still no 3-d. I walked out, along with others, and got a refund. If it was in 3-d it would probably be better, but I am not sure based on the other reviews I have read. I still do not understand why it wasn't being shown in 3-D and what happened? I got my money back, but the price of gas was on me. I also work on Saturdays and took the day off to see this movie.- 4 hours of driving , an $8.00 bag of popcorn and no movie. PS: If they gave out 3-D glasses, why did they tell me it wasn't suppsed to be in 3'D? (and,it is advertised all over the theartre it is 3-D?)

Not what I expected!

I was very excited to see Cirque and was very disappointed. I expected it to be just like sitting in the audience at the real event since it was the 3D version. It was too dark! Not enough lighting to show the vibrant colors of the costumes. Too many dark quiet spots with no action. I actually fell asleep for about 2 minutes and my partner had to wake me up! I never fall asleep at movies. There were some very cool acts but if you want to see them I would wait for the dollar theatre or the DVD..

good price for a cirque show

I recommend seeing it. Cirque never ceases to amaze and this movie is the cheapest tick I've found to see any of the shows, this has a little of them all. Obviously live is better but this gives you a good taste!

A great movie to check out in 3D that's not a kiddy flick.
