This is SO beyond "so-so"..I've been to Cirque several times. Not having the multi -hundreds of dollars it costs to sit front row I have sat in the "cheap seats"($100). If you want to be able to see the real artistry with a" front row seat you are there" feel go to this. I enjoyed it better than the real thing. It was the best of any number of shows from Vegas. For aerialists making catches on equipment or with each other you get close-ups sometimes in slo-mo so that you can see the danger and beauty of it. You get underwater shots that you can't see live. The 3D doespn't jump out at youI It gives the sets the depth and feel of being there. You want to applaud after each scene. For $10 (bargain matinee) I didn't have to fight traffic, pay for parking or use binoculars to see anything up close. I will go back and see it again. This is a great way to see Crique if you never have. None of the stunts these artisits do is easy. Appreciate how much training it takes. GO!!

I brought my 10-year-old granddaughter who hid in my arms during much of the movie. I do not recommend it for kids. It was mostly dark and scary. I had hoped it would be upbeat. Toward the end, we liked the Beatles music and dance. But earlier, music was in minor key, faces on the screen were angry or sad and we did not understand or follow the story through much of the movie. I have seen several Cirques live, all of which I loved, even bought the music and tapes (yes, tapes, from 1992 Las Vegas show). I appreciated the talent and hard work and excerpts in this movie, as taken from other shows, especially "O." Missed much of the connection to the basic story.

If you're even remotely interested in Cirque du Soleil this movie is completely worth your time and money.

The two best things about this movie were the closeups and the slow motion, the third best thing was several of their shows were incorporated into one story for the movie. The action in a live show is very fast and dramatic, it was wonderful to see the foot placements, the hand holds and releases, the seemingly physically impossible feats up close and slow enough to grasp the action. The viewer who may not be familiar with Cirque du Soleil gets a terrific opportunity to see the amazing costumes and hear the original music from several shows. Of course visuals leave you breathless as is true with the live shows. The only negative was having to wear the 3D glasses which are uncomfortable for me, and overall we were of the mind that the 3D did not enhance the movie enough to make it worthwhile. Other than that this show is a must, children and adults together will be mesmerized.

Absolutely spectacular. A visual masterpiece and a joy to listen to. Being able to see the performers up close and watch their facial expressions is something you never get at an actual Cirque performance. Loved every minute.
