The narration was satirical at some points and it made me laugh! and it was interesting to see how chimpanzees go about their lives for survival (also, you will notice how chimps really do behave similar to human adolescents). I loved Oscar, the young chimp. There were only two scenes that showed struggle and minor violence but it's expected since it's a movie on nature and the 'wild'. If you enjoy watching touching movies with its bits of comedy, I recommend :)

Very touching and amazing how they were able to film everything. Really enjoyed it. The aggressive scenes may be a little intense for young children, but they did a good job editing while still being able to capture the true story.

Not Thomas (the Tank) or Waldo...but Oscar- he is cute!

Hopefully there's a category to give this film an Oscar. It's a winner- great photography, captivating story, and educational to boot! Don't walk out until the credits have finished... there's some interesting and important information about the making of the film as well as the status of chimps in the world today. Take the whole family!

This movie is very enlightning. I was not aware that Chimpanzees had their own sections of the jungle. I was very impressed with the filming of this movie. The camera was able to capture very intimate moments with these animals and it was wonderful to experience. Who won't fall in love with Oscar and his darling little face. I took my grand daughter who is 8 my 2 sisters one is 87 and the other is 75 and my friend who has dimentia and we all loved it to pieces.

Very good movie, held my attention throughout. Took my three grandchildren, good for the 8 year old but the 6 and 4 year olds got a little bored.
