Though made over seventy years ago, Charge It tells a story that will be all too familiar to the Yuppie generation. Clara Kimball Young plays the wife of just-getting-by businessman Herbert Rawlinson. When Rawlinson is promoted into a higher-paying position, the previously frugal Young goes on a buying spree. Charging everything to her husband's account, Young's sense of responsibilty goes flying out the window, leading to a disastrous romantic fling with roue Edward M. Kimball.
