Such a great story and yet such a "so so" film. Casino Jack and his colleagues feel like the gang that couldn't shoot straight - which instead of making the film feel like a black comedy commentary on political corruption , just makes it feel like a medicore comedy. I still appreciate Spacey - but was disappointed in the film overall.

Spacey is good, but movie is terrible. May have been good if they really told the true story, however they didn't. DON'T waste your money!

I thought this movie was decent, but you could wait for the DVD or cable....Kevin Spacey was very good, as usual, and so was Barry Pepper, as Mike Scanlon. These guys were so greedy, which I think blinded them to common sense, to say nothing of decency! But the documentary really shows the ugly, ugly truth of not only Abramoff and Scanlon, but the politicians such as Tom DeLay and Jim Nye who would do and say just about anything to get what they or their cronies wanted. Disgusting - and the movie depicted this to some extent, but also showed Abramoff as slightly "off" mentally. Don't know if that's true or not....but I'm glad he got time, as did Ney. And my hats off to my buddy Ronnie Earle, the Texas prosecutor who brought the charges against DeLay....

Really good movie. I really enjoyed it, ever since seeing the trailer and then being sold from the opening Monologue i wanted to see this. I did and it was great. A Tad slow in one area but then gets back into the fun. If you like movies with power, coruption, and egos then this will be for you.

Great movie. Spacey was excellent. it was almost tiring watching all the ways Jack justified stealing.
