I have seen Casablanca many times on TV, but his was the first time to view it on the big screen. The movie takes on a new feel on the larger screen, the characters seem larger than life as they were intended to.
Life was turned upside down for all western Europe as Germany's invasion moved toward the Atlantic coast. Casablanca was the place for the desperate and the opportunists. The people in Casablanca did not live there, they survived there, one day at a time. You were able to feel that struggle for survival much better seeing it on the big screen.
Everyone knows the story, but it a much more memorable experience on the big screen than on the TV in your bedroom. If you have the opportunity to see it in a theater it is worth the trip, you'll better appreciate why it has lasted and become a classic.

We LOVED seeing it on the big screen. It was excellent. We now want to see African Queen on the big screen.

Watched as the result of peer pressure, finished as a true believer...and to see it in the theater...CAN'T WAIT!
