I loved it from start to finish. The harmony of voices and instruments filled my heart with joy and kept me interested in all four chapters of this classical masterpiece. I was amazed with how many people participated in the production, all contributing with their sensational voices and dramatic acting. Watch it with subtitles to be immeresed in the drama that beautiful Carmen creates. Enjoy and by all means fall in love with Carmen. Ignore the warnings, hehe.

If you like opera and Bizet's Carmen in particular you will love this HD "broadcast." The two stars are elegant and passionate and have fine voices. Both can act as well as sing. One small problem: the sound was just a millisecond or five behind the video. Not too too annoying but it needs fixing to be as good as the performances and productions themselves.

Too bad for those who did not soak in the performance!

This was one of the best productions of Carmen that I've ever seen. The singing, the acting, everything was first-rate. I wanted it to start over so I could see it again. Loved it!

Elegant, very European, just unforgetable...

One of the best performances I have seen through Met in HD; the choice of singers/actors was superb, staging unusual and allowing close-ups to bring great experience closer.
