An exceptionally well crafted movie that manages to balance light hearted banter while maintaining the dramatic tension of a small group of people desperately trying to ward off the destruction of freedom against a far more powerful foe. The sheer humanity of the conflict keeps the action grounded which creates the audience buy in.

As an adult I thought the movie was well written and choreographed, a little slower with the story compared to the first movie. This movie was definitely for the older child or adult. My nine year old got bored and to a nap. I love Marvel and all the Super Hero's and I can not wait till the third part to the Captain America series continues and is released.

I wasn't going to see this movie but after seeing an interview on TV I thought I should go. There was so much action and excitement in this movie. There is no expletives so this movie is good for at least 10 and older. The Acting was topnotch and the special affects were awesome. Chris Evans, (Captain America), Anthony Mackie, (Falcon) and Scarlett Johansson, (Natasha) carried the movies with scenes of action and emotion. I loved Mackie as Falcon, wow!. I recommend this movie to all those who follow the Marvel movies.
sit back and enjoy!

Where do I start... let's try the beginning! This movie is perfectly paced, as it does an excellent job of piecing together moments of story development and insane action sequences to round out what is a very entertaining, thrilling, and exciting movie playing out on the big screen. Interestingly enough, though it is a Marvel Superhero movie, it doesn't actually FEEL like a Marvel Superhero movie. It's hard to explain this entirely but the story does such a good job of keeping you on your toes, that the superhero aspects of the movie almost play second fiddle to the story, and that's not a bad thing! An excellent homage to Captain America, the quintessential leader of the Avengers. This movie finally does justice (no pun intended) to showing all the qualities, attributes and 'powers' that make Cap, Cap. Arguably the best Marvel movie amongst The Avengers, Iron Man, and this one. Must see!
