    Camp

This is an endearing movie. The beginning grips your heart as you see the literally wasted life of both mother and son. Then you get to see a self-centered rich, young stud agreeing to be part of a camp that is the only solice for any of the kids attending. As a kid's minister, I got pretty angry at the main character Ken Matthews (Michael Mattera). But that made it even better to see the change in both Ken and his camper, Eli.
This is a must see. You will cry, you will laugh, you will be amazed that this is all based on a camper's real life experience. AND almost half of the proceeds go to support this camp.
And what a boon for the lead actor Michael Mattera, who played his part SO well, even though it was his first lead in a major motion picture!
Wish we had more movies like this one.

Take the time to enjoy this movie. It had limited release and little advertising. But you will love it!
BTW parents, there is a bit of minor profanity, but no more than you see on TV.

I hope more theaters bring this movie in, it is a message that needs to be shared. Just like "Ken's" experience, it changes your life!
    RFKC is the best!!!

    Inspirational!

Great movie! I loved it!! An intimate insight into what happens at Royal Family Kids Camp for these foster kids. They get loved on and see a glimpse of who God is and how much He loves them. You will laugh and cry. Bring your tissues!

    Go see CAMP

I took my 11 and 14 year old boys to see CAMP. We loved this movie. The story is well writen and the acting is great. There's a little bit of everything - comedy, drama, romance. It's a heartwarming story. All three of us cried-and that says alot for my boys to cry. Go see this movie.

Take your family and go see CAMP!

It's a must see for everyone! Great message for all. It's based on a true story that is so touching and heartfelt. Thank you Camp Hope for being an inspiration for the movie. I hope CAMP is shown in more theaters so more can receive the beautiful message. Michael Mattera and the entire cast did a fantastic job - brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.

70% of the US prison Pop. was in foster care

    by

Foster kids start out life in the worst circumstances sometimes and I'm really happy to see a movie that increases the awareness about this issue in our society. This movie will make you feel for these kids.

I have been a camp counselor for four summers at Royal Family Kids. Hopefully we do a little better than Ken does in this movie!
