    Burn Before Watching!

    by allie8962

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life. It was NOT FUNNY AT ALL, unlike what the previews would have you believe.

The characters in the movie were all very sad and pathetic. The plot starts to get interesting towards the end if you've been able to hang in there long enough, but what could have turned into a fantastic ending to make it worth your time COMPLETELY FLOPS!! At the end of the movie, you're just angry that you wasted the time to sit through it with no satisfaction at the end.

My fiance and I rented and watched the movie separately. He turned it off less than halfway through and I powered through to the end only to be left disappointed. We both hated it.

Oh, and BTW (after reading the other reviews), my IQ is over 160 and I have two college degrees. I don't think people behaving like complete imbeciles is either funny or entertaining. I'm sure you "smart" people found Beavis and Butthead to be brilliant, too. Pathetic.

    Funniest Movie of the year

An all-star cast along for a hilarious ride, with the Coen brothers at the helm, fresh off of their Best Picture Oscar for No Country for Old Men? It just screams potential, and delivers in spades

Wisely switching gears from action flicks to the other genre they do well, the Coens have mde me laugh harder than anytime in recent memory. The movie is a gold mine of ridiculous personalities, over the top actions, and impossibly hilarious situations

The movie follows multiple different threads, and how those come together, and how everyone views each escalating situation, forms the backbone of this comedy. The movie really peaks when J.K. Simmons and the government try to make heads or tails of what is going on. He expertly brings everything together while simultaneously turning it all on its head, and good luck trying to make it out of his scenes without a sharp pain in your side and a tear in your eye from laughter

This is a supremely enjoyable movie, can't wait to see it again

    WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!

I had been looking forward to seeing this movie and finally saw it last night.
    My rating:
    WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was stupid, made no sense, had no plot line, etc.
I usually love both Clooney and Pitt movies (Leatherhead & Mr. and Mrs. Smith were awesome!!!), but this was pathetic. All they did all movie was say "f u," sleep with each other, and shoot everyone.
The originial plotline (or at least what I thought was supposed to be the plotline) was switched halfway through the movie.
I guess what they were trying to do was show how stupidly convoluted our world is, but they failed. ULTIMATE FAIL!!!!!
You can probably tell that I am very mad at having to waste 2 hrs sitting through that sad movie, waiting for when they would tie the story together. And as you might of guessed, that never happened...
On the other hand, I watched WALL-E later, which is a good movie and which brightened up my evening, so it wasn't as depressing :)
