Must see in theater for full effect

Extremely well done. Sitting through this movie-totally kept inside the coffin,no breaks-was a visceral experience. I was out of breath, panicking, felt my heart racing, feeling moments of hope and relief-all right along with Reynolds. This actor, camera work and score make this film a work of art.

  • Must Go!

    Intense One-Man Show

Buried is a movie unlike any other. It is 1 hour and 40 minutes of Ryan Reynolds trying to desperately get out of a wooden coffin, buried somewhere in Iraq, at a destination where he doesn't know where he is, and all he has is a zippo lighter, cell phone (which is in the Iraq language), glow sticks, and a poor flashlight. The movie is very intense, especially when he finds a snake slivering inside the coffin. The ending was the most intense and dramatic part. After the final moment, the screen goes silent and the credits roll. I was left breathless at this, I had to sit there for a couple of seconds to really absorb what just happened. It gave me chills down my spine. What an excellent movie.

Breath of fresh air.... so to speak

Finally, a movie with a totally unique concept! It was edge of your seat action from beginning to end, kept you fully focused and entertained throughout, and kept you guessing up until the credits! I LOVED this movie! I was a little worried about an entire movie about a guy trapped in a box underground, but a lot can happen to you underground apparently! I would love to see more movies take a simplistic idea and turn it into genius as I believe Buried has done!
