    dark version of 80s cop movie

    gratuitous violence, tattoos and sex with predictable plot. kinda made me wince to see sung kang (Han from fast/furious) play such a pu$$y cop. However Stallone more than delivered, and Kang was fairly good at pretending not to be the bada$$ he really is. The main villian(s) were extremely convincing too, and it the early 90s looking lead merc fit right in to the theme...which to me was Stallone saying the old tough guy ways of the 80s were best, And the new ways of the 90s+ iphone-reliant era are for pu$$y amateurs.
    So, if you agree with stallone then this dark movie is for you. But if you're more of a Hawaii Five-O (the new one) kinda person, then this movie is just so-so and might make you cringe more than once

    An action movie...what did you expect?

    If you wanted character developement, you picked the wrong movie. If you want story, go somewhere else. This is an action movie, pure and simple. People getting shot, things getting blown up, a good guy, a bad guy, an anti-hero, and a psychopath. The big fight you see in the trailers is the only one in the movie. Save your money and wait till it comes out on Cinemax.
