    Bullet to the Head

This is a good old fashioned action movie , directed by Walter Hill , a good old fashioned action movie director [he directed The Warriors , 48 Hrs , Red Heat , Another 48 Hrs] starring a good old fashioned action star [Sylvester] . Sylvestor is 66 years old and looks like he is in fantastic shape .
Sylvester plays a New Orleans hitman that meets Sung , a Washington D.C. detective , whenever they are both looking for the same man , Adewale [It seems they have some personal business with him] . This is kind of like those old buddy cop movies , only it's a hitman and a cop . Christian plays a high priced attorney and Jason is a tough enforcer [they both work for Adewale] and in case you were wondering , the title of the movie comes into play , quite often . In a good action movie , you need a good , tough bad guy for the hero to fight and you definitely have that here , with Jason .

Good action attitude flick. Sly still has the bricks!

    by

Just went and saw Bullet To The Head. Just me and a friend. This movie is NOT for kids. Extremely graphic. Ok.. two things about Sly, the man is hard as rock even at his considerable age, and second, his acting hasn't improved since Rocky! But I enjoyed it despite his pushing of Bullet Whiskey which tastes nasty. All that said, in the action department it didn't disappoint; very bloody, a lot of bad guy with the code of ethics stuff. Definitely a good guy flick, and honestly I don't think any man can look at Stallone and not be inspired to put in some time at the gym.

    Classic Stallone!

This is just another typical Stallone movie, but that is not a bad thing. I enjoyed this movie a lot and it is a You know what to expect when walking into the movie theatre, when you are watching a movie with Stallone. This movie has a hitman and a cop go up against thugs who have killed their partners. They are ruthless and will stop at nothing to get what they want, unless Stallone does something about it. Go see it, but it def. is not for kids. Too much swearing and blood. That is why it is rated R. Stallone is at it again and he did not dissapoint. I was entertained for the 90 minutes and he is still one of the best action stars out there even at his age. GO SEE IT. Everybody loves a good afternoon full of blood and guns!

    Very good movie, entertaining

    by coder01

If this is your genre this movie is definitely entertaining.

Not terrifically violent, but that's ok. Good suspense, pretty good story line.
Sylvester is getting a bit old to be the action hero, however he played his character well and it was believable.

This was worth the price to see in the theater.

    Stallone Failure

I went into this movie knowing it was probably going to be a rugged man move like the Expendables. Usually, that sort of movie is a good movie theater man flick. I was very mistaken. The plot was extremely lacking. Stallone played a macho hit-man that has a problem with authority and seeks vengeance on his hit-man partner that was killed. There is NO character development and just back acting (except for Stallone and a couple others).

Bottom line, don't waste your money, if anything wait for Redbox but honestly, you would be wasting your money there too.

I was a little reluctant to go to this one thinking Sly was a bit too old to pull it off. But I must say I enjoyed the movie and it's action scenes.

Hard to like a movie in which you don't like anyone!

Wanted to like this movie, but when you don't care about any of the main characters...it's impossible. Stallone's stilted, monosyllabic dialog, a dumb cop, a daughter who can't act her way out of a bag, combined with over the top gratuitous violence makes for one disappointing movie experience. I could have seen a variety of other action movies, but all of them had less than stellar reviews. This one was the better choice of the bunch according to those reviews. Wish I'd just gone to have a nice lunch!

    Bullet to the Head

I like to say the movie was very well done I never seen Stallone in such a comdey guy he did well and so did cast of actors & actress I would like to see a sqeul if there is ever one but this time he gose where the agent is from on his play ground see what happen then.

The sory line was really great from what usally see of Stallone but all turn out so well even my friend said he would go bak an see again with me. Sometime when have something this great just go along with it because it works in ways that you want to again to see if yoy miss anything.

Great job on the movie hope to see him something as funny and action at same time again.

    Sincerely

    Saul Del Toro

    Only if you love Stallone

This movie relies on Stallone fans to carry it and is not the kind of movie that is memorable. The story line is mediocre and other than shootings, a couple of hand-to-hand fights and some explosions, the movie doesn't have great intensity or suspense and there's never a good guy bad guy set of characters defined. Apparently Stallone is neither, and everyone he shoots is apparently either a a bad cop or gangster after the fact.

There are several short nudity shots and gun shots to the head to satisfy most action lovers, but the story doesn't carry well and it was hard to establish empathy with any of the characters, including Stallone.

A By The Numbers Action Crime-Drama.

While there's absolutely nothing new to be found in this film, Stallone proves that even though he may be a senior citizen he can still carry an action flick. If all senior citizens were as fit as him, this would be a very scary world. Meantime as movies go, this one's not half bad. If you see a lot of crime action films, this play will seem familiar, as its plot formula's been done time and time again on screen. Still, it's worth the price of admission and entertaining. That's definitely what I look for in a film. See it. You won't be disappointed.

    The Trailers Looked Good

Look I'm not gonna bash the movie. The trailers looked good but honestly didn't live up to the hype. Bullet To The Head is a kick-*** movie, I mean it's balls to the wall action and that's where Sylvester Stallone excels. Honestly I didn't feel the chemistry between the two characters (Jimmy BoBo & Det. Kwon) but I'm in the minority. Look the action is there, the story is ok, but this film is a must for all Stallone fans everyone else can wait for DVD. This film is rated "R" for a reason so responsible parents DO NOT NEED TO BRING SMALL KIDS TO THIS!!! (Mind you I saw some irresponsible parents do just that.)

Was exactly what we expected. Silly popcorn fun.

Don't expect Hamlet here. This is just simple fun. Felt like it should have been shot in Black and White as over the top Film Noir(ish).

    Much more than I expected!

I went into this flick only expecting a little and boy does this movie deliver! I'm soooo tired of all of these writers slamming Stallone. This man is one of the most talented people in the buisness these days and he went out and got Walter Hill to work with him on this no nonsence action movie that is a blast out of your seat from the get go. No it's not going to win best picture or any oscars but, it is exactly what you want out of it. It's fast, fun, big, and actually very good. The movie glides right along and keeps your eyes yearning for more Stallone! The bad guys make you want to put a bullet in there head and the good guys well Semi good, are fun to root for. Jason Mamoa has done a very good job along with Christian Slater and Sung Kang. Sarah Sahi is gorgeous. Walter Hill really did a good job making the action seem real and I just loved the pace it keeps. I honestly would love to see it again. I saw The last Stand and this movie is way better than that. GOOD FUN

Awesome movie. Lots of action, suspense, and great charisma between the characters. Stallone definitely has the ' swag ' in this film. LOVEEEE the sountrack too. He definitely has gotten rid of the stereotypical Rocky/Rambo image.
