It's a go, but not a must go

I thought this was just a good movie - I think the previews really hyped it up to be better than it was but overall I enjoyed the movie. I was a little disappointed with the ending.

Story line reminded us once again that government officials and politicians just can't be trusted. Mark Wahlberg did the same role as in other movies, but Russell Crowe did do a nice change by being the crooked politician. Maybe better to rent than see in theaters.

I was a little side ways going into this movie to see it, but man oh man did it turn out good! The acting from everyone in this were fantastic! It's no oscar winning performance but it's an intense thriller with twist and turns in it! I like movies that have the story line where it has you thinking that everyone is the enemy until it's really that one person at the end of it who was behind everything bad and all the pieces to the puzzle start fanning out one by one! I think Mark is getting really good at this thing. Look forget what the professional critics say! Go check it out! Its worth your buck!

Broken City is Dullsville.

The storyline is actually well conceived. It's the screenplay that puts you to sleep. It's one of those films where there is no suspense. It tries to deliver on this upper level detective drama and it just falls flat. Waste of talent and time. Rent Contraband instead.

I loved the movie...Mark Wahlberg was perfect in his role...He always plays his part realistically...Russell Crowe was perfect as the corrupt mayor, and Catherine Zeta Jones is beautiful to watch in any role she plays. The story had many twists and turns, but the audience is captured from the beginning to the end of the movie. Perhaps they could write a sequel to this film, with Mark Wahlberg in prison....
