    Masterpeice

This movie is amazing, it shows how friendship can survive in even the most odd conditions. It also depicts the relationship between two children and the things that happen to them. The screen play is amazing and the different creatures add a lot to the movie. Small things that the two cherectors do make this movie what it is, a masterpiece. This movie is great for the whole family.

    Bridge to Terabithia

This is a wonderful movie both for adults and kids of all ages. It teaches a lesson that is difficult to teach = When you 'loose' someone out of your life, you must 'take them with you' as you continue your own journey... This may be hard to sit through (bring tissues) but it will stick with you, long after you leave the theater...

loved the movie!! not so much for younger kids.

i loved this movie!! the only parts i would say should be removed were whenever leslie and jess were leaving church and leslie starts talking about people going to hell. also when leslie dies jess looks up and asks his dad if leslies going to hell! im like ok um ur best friend just died and all you can say is " is she going to hell?" i dont think you should take your younger kids to see it. i went with my 5 yr old and 7 1/2 yr old cousins. i think you should be 10 or older to see this.the thought of going to hell mite scare younger kids.and the whole death thing mite also scare them and they wont be as into it. and i dont think leslie should have died either. the whole terabithia thing was all because of her and i loved her character!! i cried and a lot of other ppl did too. youre just getting to know leslie and starting to really like her and then she just dies.

    Good Family Flick...

I thought that this movie was a very good family movie. I took my 2 sons ages 10 and 6, and they both enjoyed it a lot. Although it was sad, it taught a very good life lesson. I'm sure we will buy this movie on DVD when it comes out!

    Excellent

Excellent Movie! Go, you will not be disappointed! For the other reviewers that were, I can only assume they have never read the book. You can not make a movie based upon a book and then leave out the main plot no matter how sad it is. My three daughters loved it!

great movie for children and adults. My husband and I enjoyed it. It is a must go see. It is nice to see a movie without all the shooting and cursing going on.

    Bridge to Teribithia

I had someone from each generation with me to see this movie, a 10 year old, a 19 year old and myself 40's. I think the real problem was we were expecting something in the lines of the Witch and the Wardrobe. The acting was good and the characters were interesting but the plot left us wanting more throughout the entire movie. I realize there is a message deep inside this flix but it was over the head of the 10 year old and wasted on the older two movie goers. I would recommend watching it on DVD and then send your kid outside to play.

    Bridge to Terabithia

WARNING----TERRIBLE MOVIE......Like so many others, I went to it to see a "good feel" , PG movie like Narnia. It had a decent start, it well illustrated the many plights of kids in the school setting. It also explored the friction between Sons and (overbearing-driven) Dads. The premise of a fantasy based world is a child's fondest wish and reenacted by thousands world wide on a daily basis. My hat off to the author. BUT...........To kill off the one true friend, (possibly the one true love), is an unforgivable sin and ruins everything else. The story as screened, is a loser and should be religated to a swift screen-death too. A POSSIBLY LEGONDARY STOREY LINE KILLED OFF BY A SHORT SIGHTED IDEA.

    An okay movie

A sweet movie. Didn't read the reviews first, so was unprepared for the need of tissues. Overall, my 13 year old niece enjoyed the movie, but my 12 year old son thought it was just okay. I was worried about the relationship with the main boy character and the music teacher. I thought the acting was very good.

    bridge to terebithia

I thought the movie was very good and it offered great ways to combat bullying. It was also good at showing kids that its ok to be different. I enjoyed it but I hoped it would have had a happier ending.

Good movie - but not for small children

    I liked the movie.

Have not read the book, so had no expectations.
    Enjoyed the movie.
The two lead actors - the boy and the girl were excellent.

However, was completely taken aback at the sudden death which takes place. Had brough my 4 year old and 6 year old to see the movie.
If I had known of this twist in the plot, I would probably not have brought them.

In short - good movie, but probably better suited to slightly older kids.
