A classic coming of age story with an interesting plot. It was an enjoyable movie and our family laughed out loud several times. That said, it seemed edited to the bone. It seemed like there could have been more to the story, which was left out. The bare-bones plot is not really the best way to tell a story that has so many interesting cultural elements. The 3D was superfluous, but the characters were funny and interesting.

For this movie, Pixar rewrote the software for the heroine's hair. After seeing the results, I have to say that the hair should win an academy award for supporting actress - when you see the movie, you'll understand.
It's irreverent. It's safe for kids to see, but still funny for adults. Great story with several unseen twists; you'll be mesmerized until the final scenes.
Great in 3D; I strongly recommend it.

This was a fun, beautifully made movie. I have nieces ages 10, and 7 and a nephew age 8 and I told my brother that all three of his children would love it and it was age appropriate for all. I think most adults will like it too, but I do agree with another reviewer who said that it seemed very edited and the storyline could have been beefed up some. That being said I can't think of any child who wouldn't adore seeing it! Watching it in 3D was another Pixar
treat! What a great Mom story; it had me missing mine...

The critics said it had no HEART!!! Not sure what that means, but my friends and I LOVED it in 3D and would go see it again. We laughed out loud until we cried. I read that Pixar had created a program just for Merida's hair. Well they got it perfect. LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!! Don't listen to the critics...they're just critics.
