Great movie for all ages and all kinds. Pixar movies tend to all have a moral lesson blended in with their storytelling and this movie is no exception. Animation is breathtaking along with its adorable 7 minute short that precedes Brave. If you are a fan of Pixar then I would highly doubt that you would be disappointed with its latest offering. After the movie was over everyone gave it an ovation which is always delightful when pixar is involved. Last movie that I experienced an ovation was the Lion King rerelease and I have seen a lot of movies since then. I applaud pixar for its original storytelling and not being influenced by whats out there and taking a chance on something unique and different. I think thats part of the reason their their product is always successful, very much in the foundation of Apple and Steve Jobs, they pave the path and others walk down it. Thought it was very heartfelt that at the end of the movie it was dedicated to Steve Jobs.

My Baby Boomer husband and I took our 30-year old daughter and her husband and our nine-year-old granddaughter and her best friend, and we all loved it. There's magic, a compelling and touching story, lots of humor (for adults too!). In other words, a great Pixar family film.

Brave is fantastic! Its a Great moral lessons for both parents and kids. The heroine was a young lady that any mother should be proud of..strong and confident! Very touching scenes that will stir your emotions! A must see for all!

Brave was a fun romp for those who saw it in the theatre at midnight. There was also no one under ten in the theatre either. This is not your typical Disney/Pixar movie. There is more scary then scar/lucifer/ and Ursula combined. They don't shy away from that. Also the story was a copy of a failed hand-drawn animated Disney movie called Brother Bear. However you mostly ignore that because of how beautiful the animation is. Pixar has once again raised the bar on CGI animation and I don't think Dreamworks, BLue Sky or 20 Century Fox will be able to catch up soon. I was amazed at the detail, the rendering of the hair and just the sheer beauty of the world that surrounded the characters.
I will recommend this but be warned that the originality of the story you learned to love from Pixar is not there. However the beauty of the animation makes up for it. This is a mother/daughter story and the previews does no show any of the plot.
