    Thoroughly enjoyed

    by mtal1

Our whole group enjoyed it! A little scary for the younger ones but generally very well received. Loved the fact that it wasn't the typical Disney fare with the tradtional princess story.

    Great!

My mom and I saw this movie and we both enjoyed it. I thought the plot was a bit cliche, but the amazing animation made up for it. I recommend seeing it in 3D. I thought that Pixar did an amazing job of portraying the mother/daughter relationship and I'm glad they finally made a movie with a strong female lead. A fun movie to go see with the family, though there were some scary/intense scenes and brief nudity (it wasn't that bad since it's animated), so I would only say it's for kids 7+

    Brave 3D

Such a cute movie! My girls loved it and did take their eyes off the screen. Definitely will be added to our movie library when released on DVD. Great for any age.

    Great Movie, Great Story

    by

What I liked the most about it is how the movie trailers (or at least the ones I watched) were not telling the whole story. I did not know much about what to expect and it completely surprised me.

    not as good as IMAX

    by

Overall, it's a good movie, same style like Up. But there is no IMAX, so 3D is not the best.

    Delightful for children and adults

A charming tale of a headstrong but precious lass! The stunning animation brought even the smallest details to life. My niece and nephew love it and so do I!

    Brave

Our granddaughter had been wanting to see this movie ever since she first heard about it. It did not disappoint. She loved it. One of the best visually pleasing films we have seen. Great story to go along with it.

    Brave

It never ceases to amaze me how the fine folks at Pixar hit movie after movie out of the park. Brave, in Real 3D no less keeps the Pixar winning streak alive. Funny, heart warming, exciting, and draw dropping from beginning to end. Just make sure you stay through the end credits, I was the only one in the theater that got to see the little bit at the end.

I took my two grandkids age 7 & 11 andI'm 60. It was a great show. Not only did the kids love it, I did too. We laughed so much our sides hurt. It is a must see show.

    Good movie, a little scary.

I loved the fact that this was not a typical Disney movie. The Pixar edge is always welcome. My daughter (8) and I enjoyed the spunky, defiant princess and the mother/daughter angle, rather than the prince/princess story. The characters were fun and the music was very enjoyable. My criticism would be that the bear scenes were very scary. There were three scenes where my daughter buried her head in my shoulder. Those were very loud and dark. Although I know she loved most of the movie, the only thing she said coming out was, "That was too scary." Overall, the bears ruined it for her and she says she didn't like it.

    Fun for me!

I took my three grandchildren while I have them with me for a two-week "Camp Nina"~~I loved the movie! Sweet and not too much boy-bathroom humor. Good lessons in there, too!

    Review of Brave

I took my grandchildren to the 3D version. My granddaughter is 6 and my grandson is 10. My grandson absolutely loved it and wants to see it again. My grand daughter said she liked it and sat, eyes wide open throughout the movie.

The 3D portions were really well done. And while the story was a bit too young for me, the characters were colorful and beautiful. the cinematography was lifelike and great and I adored that red unkempt long hair. My one thought is that perhaps it was a bit too scary in places for the 6 year old.

My husband slept through it. He is 65.
