My husband and I went to Brave with our 14 year old son and 15 year old daughter. We all liked the film a lot! My son was moved to tears and recognized his connection with the mother and daughter in the film. We discussed this and other aspects of the movie through dinner.
The technology was gorgeous and the 3D version was done exceedingly well. Our family always stays to the very end and we were rewarded with a final joke with the broom and the crow, plus the announcement of dozens and dozens (and dozens!) of "productions babies" born during the making of Brave. We all walked out laughing. Nice!

Loved the movie. Great story and another great animated film by Disney/Pixar. Funny and touching; good for kids, adults, and families. Dolby Atmos definitely added to the experience.

Without giving away the story - it wasn't the typical "princess" story! That was refreshing! My 13 yr old daughter and I enjoyed it. It is cute and has some parts that make you cry, lots of laughing and drama/danger.

Thought it was good but would've liked to have seen more. Didn't think seeing it in 3D was worth it. Not very many 3D effects but overall, worth seeing.
