  This was a well made movie of a group of Hotel employees on the day of the shooting. Is was a sincere look at an the shooting, carefully engineered to put actual scenes of Bobby Kennedy before he died. His death ended an era in this country and we have been spiralling down since his death. I recommend this for all adults and young americans. It was history revisited.

  A very good film, indeed. Some subplots (like the one with Helen Hunt and Martin Sheen seem a bit uneven), but overall this movie works. The cast is fantastic with Sharon Stone, Freddy Rodriguez, and Demi Moore really standing out. In fact, I'd like to see Stone and Rodriguez (and even Moore) get Oscar nominations. The closing song sung by Aretha Franklin and Mary J. Blige is a stunning killer!!!!

  Good

  This movie was very enjoyable. The entire cast does a very nice job and the plot moves along at a perfect pace. This movie really highlighted a specific event in American history and exposed it to a younger generation in a well-constructed and interesting movie.

  actual period footage almost always more compelling than the movie

  Great historic drama

  I am an historian and an author and I loved this movie. I lived through RFK's assassination. I was a campaign worker for him that year. That event definitely changed my life. Bobby's social justice position defined my own. The issues of 1968 are still relevant today--so I know that many people will appreciate this film. The use of other stories and glimpses into the lives of individuals was very effective because that is how historic events are best remembered--by how they interact with our private existance and remind us of our envolvement in the lives of all humanity.
