Wow Woody, your truly not getting older, but continue to get better. Cate Blancett was superb. She should win all the awards for this year. Her voice modulation, her eyes and facial expressions were spot-on.
Whoever cast this picture (Woody?) did a stellar job. The whole cast was brilliant.

Woody Allen hit a Home-Run with this one! An amazing cast handed an amazing and original script is always a great recipe! This is one of the best, if not The Best movie I have seen in some time! This is what the movie experience should be! Not a bunch of loud explosions and fight scenes to cover up the lack of talent in CREATING something special!!

I went with my girlfriend, who commented that if she didn't know it was a Woody Allen movie, she would have never guessed. The movie only had a few of the ususal Woody one liners. On the other hand, the script is a gripping story of the breakdown of Jasmine following in the classic tradition of the flawed heroine in a Greek tragedy.
Set in San Francisco, the superb cast are amazing. But Ms. Blanchett is most amazing. It is like watching a car crash. I was not able to take my eyes off her when she was on screen.

Fantastic movie. Everyone in it is terrific. Right up there with "Interiors." Woody Allen is the best, not only with comedy but with tragedy. Hard to take but so worth it.

Woody's vision, the staging, direction, and music were all pitch-perfect, and the acting, truly astounding. This year's Oscar is going to Cate Blanchett, end of story.
