“Bless Me, Ultima” is a movie that brings to light a keen understanding of Latino culture and where Latinos come from---call it family, tradition or magic….it is all there in this amazing film.

I really enjoyed the movie, but as always, the book should be read first! I would love to see it in Spanish. The story is an exquisite view of life, through the lense of Mexican culture in the United States.

Beautiful cinematography. The actors playing Antonio and Ultima were fantastic. A few rough spots in the movie, but overall it's well worth seeing. Just be prepared to have your source of the moral order challenged.

A movie with a powerful, yet subtle message that is shown in a compelling way through the eyes & experiences of a young, innocent boy growing up in New Mexico.

I like the act that they didnt try to translate all the little remarks and endearments into English..it kept the presentation clean...Fantastic acting by Ms Colon as Ultma But really..it is winter here...do the theaters have to be below freezin.. Makes the experience just uncomfortable
