I think it's a must see for the Holiday, it left a good taste in y mouth for the hope it carried on screen. I'm affraid it wont reach many because of the title and I think it would make a good musicial play. When is the DVD out? I want my church to show it on Movie night!

I thought the movie was OK; obviously not up for Academy Award nomination. It was a little too much of a musical for me rather than straight dialogue, but it seemed appropriate. Movie's fit for all ages; has a slight message in it.

Good Movie for Parents and Youth

Youth need parents both mother and father. The system to support youth who do not receive support from both parents should be strengthened for youth who do not receive adeqiate parenting. The law should be amended to force parents to provide support for children even if they are not the ones providing support. Adults will become more responsible if this is enforced.

Must Go!

Written December 02, 2013
Wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved this movie! In a time when young men in single-parent (Mother) situations are coming into manhood and missing their dads but have extremely close and protective relationships with their moms, this film is a must see! The characters, especially Jacob Latimore, the 15-year old teen- are compelling! Definitely feel good, not syrupy. Some surprises. Great ending. Jacob is a young man to watch-he's definitely going places! Don't miss this movie!
