An awesome movie! However not what I expected. Lots of good music and great acting. The plot was very genuine, one one I could relate to. Jennifer Hudson has deveopled into a wonderful actress. I would recommned this movie to all age groups.

If you can hang in there until the plot and message finally meet, in the last 25mins, only then can you appreciate the film. It is definitely a musical not quite Les Mis, but singing nonetheless. I didn't care for the repetitive singing nor the unpredictable time changes in sleep, church, subway...hell the corner. I enjoyed Tyrese's role the best. If I had to rate it, base solely on scene flaws, it's a clear C+. It gives you a reason to forgive in places you thought you wrote off. Perfect timing for release...the wonderful joy that holidays bring.

This is a great movie for the season. It has a little of everything in terms of plot. It shows the ugly under belly of life, redemption, love and forgiving. I am a man and I had tears in my eyes. The love meter was off the charts and in the end everything came out right. Great singing. Will probably see it again.

What an awesome movie message on Thanksgiving - Be Grateful. Music, Drama, Laughter and Love. I hope more people see this movie that is filled with positive messages and not the drama!

Black Nativity was a good show, though not a Christmas must see. It had an awesomely strong cast, which is why I had over-active expectations. You figure with Forest Whitaker and Anglea Bassett co-starring together; along with the vocals of Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson it should have been a block-buster. It was a "GO" at best.
