Having scored with his guest star turn as a nervous driving instructor in the first-season episode "Driving Is the Only Way to Fly," Paul Lynde was added to the long list of recurring Bewitched characters in the role of Samantha's scampish Uncle Arthur. On this occasion, Endora has placed a temporary hex on Darrin, who wants to get even in a big way. As a result, Darrin and Sam align themselves with Uncle Arthur, then spend the rest of the episode trying to discourage Arthur from playing his inimitable practical jokes.
