Bethlehem

This movie highlights the chilling, yet compelling interaction between a Palestinian informant and his Israeli intelligence officer contact/ friend. The ongoing animosity between the two ethnicities results in confusing and tumultuous feelings between the two because each is being influenced by multiple other interests. The ending is "understandable", but unsettling.

A phenomenal Directorial Debut

This is a well balanced, realistic film. It was co-written by an Israeli and Palastinian and sheds light on looking at life from both people's perspective. Non-actors play the three main roles and this adds an incredible reality to the film. Palestinians and Israelis that live these "parts". It is mostly about the relationship of an informant and his handler. Intrigue and complexity dictate the mood of the film. It's a must see!

This is a fair assessment as to the relationship between the israelis and palestinians in Israel. Very good acting, and it flows each moment.
