What a great movie!! It's so refreshing to know that a wonderful story can be told without swearing, gratuitous sex scenes, senseless violence, etc. This movie has restored my faith. I was deeply moved by the sincerity of the acting and the genuine love and compassion witnessed by this movie. Tell your friends, family, enemies, and even complete strangers! They will not be disappointed.

Just misses being great
Bella is an inspiring story, beautifully told. Alejandro Monteverde maintains a tight, direct story line, which he chooses to tell mainly through the faces of his characters. This places a lot of faith in both the actors and the cinematographer. They definitely reward his faith and the result is a film with a great deal of emotional impact. Monteverde falls short, however, in that he places more importance in his message than in his story. In essence, he seemed more interested in the approval of the bishops than of his viewing audience. This causes him to stray enough from his direct story telling technique, and to make some of the secondary characters artificial and cloyingly sentimental. This might not have marred other films, but the remainder of Bella is so nearly perfect that you can't help but notice. Still, I have to recommend this film. Go see it. And expect a lot more great stuff from Alejandro Monteverde.

Bella -- A Movie Long Overdue!
"Bella" is a great movie. Finally... a movie that has something positive to offer... uplifting and inspiring rather than depressing and discouraging, pro-life rather than pro-death, pro-virtue rather than pro-vice. How refreshing! What a novel idea! Would that there were many more movies coming out of Hollywood glorifying good rather than evil. God help us! And God bless the people who made "Bella"!

Must See
There are hard situations in life that need support and understanding. This moving is healing process for all involved without a hint of preachings and shows that openes leaves us vulnerable but it's the only way to find a way out. I loved this film and the acting is breathtaking. Congratulations on an awesome movie!

Don't miss this!
The movie is absolutely a must see. Don't let the critics fool you. Take your significant other, your friends, your family, your co-workers... just make sure you go.
