    Movie vs. Book

    Compared to the Beautiful Creatures book, I thought this movie was completely awful. It was true enough to the book, the casting wasn't good, Lena and Ethan can't speak telepathically, and it was just an all around disappointment to me when it comes into comparison with the book.

    If you liked the movie "The Craft" you will love the movie [just like I do]

    I almost didn't go see this movie based on ratings, but I'm glad that I decided to go for it regardless. This movie makes for a great story, delivers excellent acting, and an interesting plot. The whole good versus evil plays a key role in this flick. The story focuses on this girl that happens to be the outcast in a small town. It also brings religion in the flick and provides quality entertainment. What could have been a soap opera isn't thanks to the humor throughout the movie. I like that the cast isn't A listers, because it helps to draw the viewers into that world. Almost anyone can relate to the story in some way. The characters are strong and have their own personalities. If anything, Beautiful Creatures is highly underrated and is a must see. Even if you miss this one in theaters, make this one first on your "must see" rental. Its' worth it.
