The bar has been set on my first trip to the Egyptian Theatre with a double feature of two of the greatest comic book films ever made. I almost forgot how brilliant Batman Begins is, not just as a comic book movie but as a film in general. The Dark Knight has set a precedence and stands alone at the top of a long list of tried, failed, decent, or almost as good reviewed films before and after it. There's no doubting the masterpiece that is the Dark Knight but also remember its foundation and roots: Batman Begins.
The double feature experience is not to be forgotten, either. The Egyptian Theatre is a must-go for any film lover or anyone in search of historic landmarks in the LA/Hollywood area. The price for admission is the same as any other theater but The Egyptian throws in a pleasant nostalgia that Regal or AMC can't offer.
