I was lucky enough to get the chance to see "Back to the Future" for its 25th anniversary. What a great time! This is the first film I remember seeing in theaters when I was a child. This brought back so much from childhood and let me relive a fun experience. This movie is awesome. Every time I see it, I love it all over again. The best part was that the Delorean Club of LI was in the parking lot and it was mind-boggling to see 8 deloreans all in one place.

Reasons Why Back to the Future is a Must!

First, it starts with one of the most memorable openers ever. Even if you aren't a Huey Lewis fan, the intro will have you grinning and nodding your head like a fool. Second, Christopher Loyd is in it. Granted, he has been in some real stinkers, but every one of those hasn't been his doing. Third, it has memorable moment after memorable moment. From the opener to the skateboard chase, from the Johnny B. Goode rendition to the always intense climatic lightning storm, it will embed itself in your collective memory. Last, it is beautifully and intelligently structured. From dialogue in the present that mirrors and matches that of dialogue set in 1955, it will have you pleasantly reflecting on what was and what was just said. Every character is set up perfectly (except for Einstein, but who can fault Zemeckis for this) thanks to this ever connecting flow of dialogue and mirrored scenes. Go see it now, and again tomorrow. It is worth a dozen views. -DeepFriedLogic
