Original buzz:
I loved it!!!!
At the beginning of the movie , it was a classical event of a spoiled rich girl going to someplace. She meet's a "hot" Drover. Lives with Aboriginal people(unexpected from the preview), and saves the day. But, there was more to it than I've expect it would be. The actors were very good(Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman rock!), the storyline was good (every scene was worth it), and it made you cry when the Jap's invaded; also the ending. I have to give a 9/10, because it was really funny(watch the kangaroo part. It cracked me up.) and the exhilirating pace of how moving a woman can be with a passionate heart. ;(

Australia
Great movie, the story is very powerful and great stars, specially Lady Ashley (Nicole Kidman)
I learned something that I didn't know even though I visited Australia so many times during our stops every time we sail for the Antartica when I was in the Navy. I learned in the movie that when an Aborigine dies you can no longer call their names interesting. I recommend this movie very powerful.

Great Movie
Historical and scenic. I wasn't aware of the passage of time. I thought the little boy should have been nominated for best supporting actor. As always, another demonstration of Nicole Kidman's versatility.
