I'm definitely going to read this book. It's painful watching because the cliff hangers are brutal. Interesting story and even more intriguing then Part 1.

Atlas Shrugged Part 2

This movie is hard to watch -- especially in view of the current events. It is however a necessity for the preservation of our constitution. Failed domestic policies from Franklin Roosevelt through present have increased the problems instead of solving anything.
iNDEED, THE PROGRAMS HAVE AMOUNTED TO LITTLE MORE THAN GOVERNMENTAL PROPITIATION AND VOTE BUYING. LET US ASK THE BASIC QUESTION -- IF WE WERE PUT HERE TO HELP OTHERS, THEN -- WHAT WERE THE OTHERS PUT HERE FOR?
GOVERNMENT HAS NOTHING, SO THEY PLAY A TAKE AND DOLE GAME. THEY DOLE OUT FIVE AND TAKE SEVEN. THE WAR ON POVERTY CANNOT BE WON WITHOUT GLOBAL SLAVERY. SLAVERY, OR ENDENTURED BY DEBT WILL STRIP PEOPLE OF THEIR HUMANITY -- ALONG WITH THE HONESTY, DIGNITY, PRIDE AND SELF RESPECT THAT ACCOMPANIES SELF ACHIEVEMENT.

stark parallel to present, cautionary.

This is a sites of movie that should not be missed, important to note that Rockefeller,tried to STONEWALL JP Morgan from financing EDISON from putting electricity in your homes, that also attacked Nikola Tesla, and his pursuit to GIVE YOU free electricity, the same msn invented the technology for radio, radar an the fact you use AC electricity if thanx to Tesla, and Rockefeller attempted to enslave you all to his kerosene, same easy electric trains in BY where stonewalled by the powers to be almost from happening, big government turning your freedoms inside out and inventing legislation to allow , IS THE NORM TODAY, thus movie is important wake call and cautionary tale of an overcharged government overstepping their bound and mandate.

Rand was a Prophet!

Although fans of Rand's magnum opus, Atlas shrugged, will notice that it is truncated, it is still a fun, wonderful movie. It is eerily prescient, and should impact any politically savvy person. It is far better than part 1; the production values alone tell you that there was a bigger budget!

As an aficionado, I'm not happy that so much couldn't be incorporated. Mini-series!

Excellent movie, I am now waiting for the DVD to become available. A pity the movie is not being shown at more local theaters. It needs to reach a wider audience.

Atlas Shrugged, Part 2 - Wonderful, a must see for Democrats and Liberals

This movie Part 2 is wonderful. Uncanny relationships with what our leadership in Washington, DC are trying to do now with the U.S. economy. Help is on the way Nov. 6.

Great story, great message for capitalism and freedom.

What a masterpiece!!

I loved the part I and part II was just as unbelievable...this story is so ahead of its time. The cast changes were for the best (particularly with Hank and Dagney) and I was absolutely riveted from beginning to end. 7/4/2014 seems like so long to have to wait for part III!!!

Ayn Rand is a crude, vile, selfish *****...and I love her for it. Atlas Shrugged is playing out to be a prophecy as we witness our great country collapse before our eyes. Read the book! Watch the movies! Live the dream!

Great Movie!!

I loved this movie! Of course I've read Atlas Shrugged at least 3 times and every time I re-read the book I get something new from it. This movie shows what would happen if the producers of the world (scientists, engineers, artists, judges etc - anyone producing a service for others in return for value) go on strike. The term Atlas shrugged refers to those who hold the world up actually shrugging under the load - in fact they go permanently into strike into Galt's Gulch and the rest of the world starts to fall apart. A radical idea in its time and quite relevant to today. In fact, in the present time, Atlas has already shrugged - witness the thousands of jobs that have been outsourced away from America - instead of a single Galt's Gulch and a single John Galt there are already hundreds of Galt's and hundreds of Gulches overseas!! Google "Startup Chile" for example and you will see what I am talking about!!

Atlas Shrugged part 2

A good movie and if you look around you can see it happening to us now !! Hadn't seen part one so sent off for DVD to get the full story .. Can't wait for part three to come out next year .. Hope that it wakes a lot of people up to what our Government is doing to us now ... A must see !!! JBD
