    Can't wait for part III

Be sure to see part 1 first. This is a movie I have been waiting for since i first read Atlas Shrugged in 1961 and it did not disappoint. After the movie - go buy the book. It will change your life!

    Terrific! The real truth!

The scenario that is presented here is very close to where America has degenerated. Although it may be a few more years before it gets as "politically correct" as this film shows, we are certainly close now! Ayn Rand "got it" 50 years ago when she wrote the book. The liberal media hated her book then...and they hate the movie now! Why? Because it is the TRUTH!

Very good movie. Thought provoking and relevant to what is happening today.

    Ayn Rand is Amazing

    by

This film didn't have the budget that a lot of films have; it has a message that many big wigs in Hollywood don't care for. However, if you know how much work went into pulling this production off, you will be impressed with what was created.

It's amazing how right Ayn Rand was, and it's becoming clearer and clearer as time goes on. The protesters in the movie are the Occupy protesters. Those who chant "We Are the 99%" are the looters she warned of. Their instincts are right-on but rage misplaced.

The rich aren't the culprits; it's the ones who pose as humanitarian while making back-door anti-free market deals with politicians.

If you don't like Ayn Rand or capitalism, you won't like this movie. This movie isn't for you. It's for those who want to know who John Galt is.

    Rand's vision brought to life!

    by

I'm baffled as to why the critics mauled this work. It's a solid, entertaining piece which does considerable justice to Ayn Rand's hefty tome, hitting most of the high points, connecting the dots from Part I, and setting the tone appropriately for what I can only hope will be a fairly prompt release of Part III to complete this epic story.

    Atlas Shrugged Part 2

    Wow! WOW!

Way more powerful than I expected.

I was particularly impressed with the way they integrated today?s issues.

They had ?Occupy? Protesters, the 99%?ers, used the term ?Czars? for government department heads, everything up to, but not including, calling the top government bad guy ?Obama?.

Definitely a must see, but will be totally lost on Obama supporters and those who seek their political information and positions from the ?Three B?s?, their Brother-in-Laws, their Barber/Beauticians and their Bartenders rather than thinkingfor themselves.

The movie is well worth it. The showing I attended only have 4 people (Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM. I suggested you watch the first part that is available on video before going. If you have not read the book do so.

    Wait for it on Netflix

    by

The movie was good; however, if you haven't seen the first segment of the movie you'll be lost. The acting is ho-hum, but the premise of the movie is pretty realistic. Worth the watch...just not necessarily in the theatre.

    Wonderful movie

Even though the movie was twice as long as the one before it, it didn't drag at all. D'Anconia's speech was shortened, but the salient points were well covered. Rearden's trial was also seriously shortened, but again all the salient points were covered. The movie was very well produced. It was sad for me though, that none of the actors from the first movie were in this one.

This is what a republic of the US would be

I saw both installments or parts so far and it's a very accurate version of the book
The choice of actors Looks like a made for TV movie it's a terrific story told well
With bad set design and b grade actors it cheapens the great story
Part 3 is still to be t

The Intrigue Builds...And The Story Continues.

This film series is not for the "Scott Pilgrim" crowd. Neither is it for anyone who cannot connect cause and effect relationships, which when coupled with political and economic nuances, redefine the boundaries of societal normalcy. If you saw the first film, this one won't disappoint you, as this chapter segues nicely into the next installment. Since today's audiences are "we need conflict resolution in the moment" types, they're not all that "buzzed" about cliff-hangers, which is basically what you get here but again, if you saw the first one that should be expected. This installment is as worthy of a ticket's price as the last. See it. You won't be disappointed.
