Reviewed by the trade paper Variety under the title A Terrible Quarrel, this D. W. Griffith comedy was ultimately released by Biograph as I Did It, Mamma. Running approximately 4 minutes, the story focuses on the misbehavior of two children, a brother and a sister. When the girl knocks over the boy's pile of blocks, he retaliates by slapping her. Sis then pounces upon her brother and gives him a real going-over. Momma arrives on the scene, assesses the situation, and spanks the boy. At this point, the conscience-stricken little girl, realizing that she's just as much to blame, begs momma to spank her too. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
