Best Christmas movie ever for family

I left the movie smiling and in the holiday spirit of love and sharing. What more can be asked for. I really want to see it on Dvd so I can have captions.

Very entertaining holiday movie for kids of all ages from 6 to 72

Everyone will be entertained by the characters in this Santa story updated for our technological age. There are many laughs throughout the movie and you will not be disappointed in this holiday fare.

    Arthur Christmas

My whole family loved it, from the 3 yr old to the 40 yr olds. It was not a block buster, nor about traditional christmas, but it was cute. We loved Arthur and the little solders. I didn't like how they portrayed Santa as stupid and clumsy, but it's just a movie.

Best Christmas Movie in a Long Time

It was a really funny movie. Arthur was nice, clumsy, and very sweet. His brother, Steve, was quite the control freak. Grand Santa saves the day. Really a lovely movie for all ages.

    Incredible movie! Family Fun!!

THis movie was a great way for me and my kids to spend time together, ecspecially around the Holidays. Theres no other better way to spend the Holidays then see the movie, Arthurs Christmas! It's a really "cute" way to show the real meaning of Christmas, in no other way then with Santa! Even if you aren't Cathiloc or don't celebrate Christmas, you STILL will love, and you'll love Christmas, too! MUST GO!

    Surprisingly better than I expected!

No matter how young or old, you have to see this! My friend and I took 6 kids ranging from almost 2 to 8 y/o and all of us want to see it again. Definitely worth it!

Predictable but still imaginative, the story lagged a little in the middle but as soon as I thought the kids were losing interest it picked back up and stayed there until the expected sentimental ending. If you have a hard time answering that question that every parent inevitably has to..."How does Santa deliver presents to every kid in the world, by himself, in 1 night?"...this is the perfect story to keep them convinced until they get a year older!

Clever, original, well-paced, and genuinely heartfelt

I took my 4-year-old son to see this film last night, and I was surprised that his lasting impression was that there were "some scary parts." Maybe he wouldn't have felt that way if he were a year or two older. There WAS one segment that had some cartoonish violence (I won't go into specifics because I don't want to give anything away), and there was way more fast-paced action than I expected. Still, my son loved Cars 2, and I thought that movie was 10 times more violent than this. My son's opinion not withstanding, I LOVED this film. The plot was easy enough to follow for young children, and the humor succeeded on both the kid level and the adult level. The message was sweet but not so sappy that I felt manipulated, and the plot twists were clever enough that, even though I knew I could expect a happy ending, I didn't know for sure what path would be taken to get there. If your kids are over the age of 5, don't miss this one!

    good for the whole family

Arthur Christmas had an interesting and unique storyline, but maintained the tradition of Santa for children. My 6 and 8 year old kids liked it a lot. Although a PG movie, it was fine for them and there was not much that concerned my for their age groups. Although, the story might be a bit hard for very small children to understand.

The wife and I enjoyed the movie as well. It was quite funny in parts. It was good fun for a family night out.

    Wait for DVD

This was a "must" see movie of the Christmas season. My daughter was so excited to see this movie. Wait for the DVD! save yourself the money and wait an additional month and use RedBox!

20 minutes in to the movie my daughter said" This will start to get better now Mom". No such luck.
    Over rated and boring!

Maybe not the best Christmas movie out

My 15year old and 9 year old saw this movie and when they came out they said it was okay...kind of silly...said their 4 year old brother would have liked it better than they did.

    LOVED IT!

    by Giomom4

Last minute decision to take the kids to a movie. They range in age from 13-4 so as you can imagine there was some back and forth about which movie to see. After reviewing some of the clips we decided on Arthur Christmas. We all loved it! It was funny, nutty, warm and magical all rolled in to one! Highly recommended for "kids" of all ages!
