An intelligent perspective from those wo suffered but served.

This is not a mainstream film. However, it has more than an intelligent sense of reality without hyperbole. The pace is a bit slow, but it compliments the premise. The French Resistance fought both the Nazis and their own certain failure and death. Yet they serve a cause greater than any of them, assured only of a greater good. There is much to like and a lot to learn.
