I fidgited and squirmed in my seat until almost the very end of the movie, as it should have been, I think. I looked around a couple of times, and different people react different ways. Some were reverent, even until the last of the credits, some had no visible reaction at all. My opinion was that I appreciated the story being told. Living through that time, seemed like another news story nagging at us day after day,. It was a little more hair raising than that. I am ashamed to say I went through that passive time in my life, although being so clandestine a mission, maybe I didn't have anything to be anything more than passive about.

Not to much to say about the camera work, but the movie as a whole was exciting, funny, and suspenseful. I was entertained the whole time!

I was in my 20's when the hostage crisis was going on. I had been to Tehran 1 year ealier as a flight attendat for PanAm and remember the airport well. This was a great movie and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. One of the best movies I have seen and Ben Affleck is easy on the eyes.

This was one of the better films I have seen in some time. The script is excellent, very funny. The story is an incredible one. I general don't like Ben Afleck but I thought he held his own as an actor and a director. Great suspense. I little bit of a nail biter at the end, one has to wonder if it all came down like that, but if you can overlook that, all thumbs up.

This movie is great for just about any type of movie you are looking for. It is touching, funny, motivating, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I literally was biting my nails during it. What is exceptionally great about this movie is that it tells such a great story from our history and they use clips of real life news reports from 1979/1980. I was in a packed full theater and, with the exception of a handful of people, everyone sat not making a move as the credits started rolling and they showed pictures from the actual events. President Carter then says words about this event and it is extremely moving. This is one film that you do not want to miss and one that is probably best seen in a theater and not waiting for the DVD.
