I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire movie. I usually don't like sitting in theaters to watch movies, but I really wanted to see this one when it came out, and boy, it didn't disappoint. Great acting, great direction (by Affleck no less), fantastic story. So unbelievable that it couldn't be true, but it is. Anyway, fantastic movie. Won't be surprised if it gets awards.

Who knew... two in a row for Affleck! Great story, obvious a lot went into making this film from the wardrobe, filming style, and makeup. John Goodman and Alan Arkin were perfect as Hollywood's finest in that era. Brought back many memories of this time... Amazing story.

Funny you should email me to do a movie review! I purchased tickets 2 weeks ago. I talked to the staff the day before to try to change the time of the tickets. It seems the on line times are not accurate ( this has happened before) and the 4:30 movie was 4:10. So I kept the 5:00 tickets.
We arrived before the film Argo to find out the movie time was cancelled.
I drove all the way there and NO MOVIE. You email me constantly. You cannot email about a cancelled show!!!!! Please I am done with Fandago and the LINDEN theater.
So how did I like the show..... I did not see it.

Go see it! This is a fantastic movie that is both a terrific satire of Hollywood and a fact-based political thriller...a rare combination indeed. Ben Affleck stars and directs and does a terrific job at both as he plays a CIA operative who concocts a scheme to rescue six stranded U.S. diplomats who escape the Iran Hostage crisis only to find themselves marooned in the Canadian embassy. What's the plan? Create a fake science fiction movie by a fake Canadian film crew and use it as a ruse to escape Iran. John Goodman, Alan Arkin, Bryan Cranston and Clea Duvall all do a great job in supporting roles. This little known tale from the Iran Hostage crisis is a winner!
