I remember the event as if it were yesterday. Since the real facts were disclosed in 1997, I really only thought it was the Canadians acting on their own, saved the day. Always like Ben but now he has elevated himself to top of the line. Recomend Argo highly.

I really enjoyed this movie. Even though you know the ending, they still did a great job of keeping me on the edge of my seat.

Suspenseful, dramatic, and even funny!

Despite knowing the outcome of the real life story, this movie still had me on the edge of my seat. The pacing was perfect, and it managed to balance the seriousness of the political situation with well-placed humor and human moments. Rather than overloading the movie with A-list celebs, they made the smart decision to use more character actors who told the story without overshadowing it. Seeing as this is only the third film Ben Affleck has directed, there should be many Oscars coming his way in the future.

The film was actually quite gripping. Alan Arkin as great as he can be, also John Goodman. I think the movie would have been even stronger if Ben Affleck had just stuck with directing rather than directing himself in it. He is a pretty wooden actor, much better behind the camera!

This movie should be show in film school as a lesson in how to take a compelling true story and make it a nail biter even though history tells us how the story really ends. Wow!
