91 out of 100 Ben Affleck proves you don't need guns and explosions to make a motion picture suspenseful, you need patience, brilliant acting and intense imagery.

I THOUGHT THE MOVIE WAS EXCELLENT AND IT DESERVED TO BE AWARDED PICTURE OF THE YEAR.. I ALSO THOUGHT BEN AFFLACK SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR DIRECTOR AND HE SHOULD HAVE WON THAT AWARD, TOO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO EVERYONE. IT IS A PART OF HISTORY. I WILL GIVE IT TWO THUMBS UP!!!

In an era of green screen action movies and overdone "romantic" comedies, Argo is in a class of its own. It is thrilling, intense, fascinating mixed with comedic moments which are subtle and clever. The script, direction, acting, pacing are all masterful. I thought it was the best way to spend 2 hours.

This movie is great for just about any type of movie you are looking for. It is touching, funny, motivating, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I literally was biting my nails during it. What is exceptionally great about this movie is that it tells such a great story from our history and they use clips of real life news reports from 1979/1980. I was in a packed full theater and, with the exception of a handful of people, everyone sat not making a move as the credits started rolling and they showed pictures from the actual events. President Carter then says words about this event and it is extremely moving. This is one film that you do not want to miss and one that is probably best seen in a theater and not waiting for the DVD.

ARGO

I fidgited and squirmed in my seat until almost the very end of the movie, as it should have been, I think. I looked around a couple of times, and different people react different ways. Some were reverent, even until the last of the credits, some had no visible reaction at all. My opinion was that I appreciated the story being told. Living through that time, seemed like another news story nagging at us day after day,. It was a little more hair raising than that. I am ashamed to say I went through that passive time in my life, although being so clandestine a mission, maybe I didn't have anything to be anything more than passive about.
